Hey adblock user! Would you mind whitelisting us? We run one ad at the top and one in the sidebar, that's it, no popups, no auto-playing videos. It would really help us cover our costs. Without advertising revenue we couldn't bring you any content and we really don't feel our ads spoil the site at all. Thank you!
Newcomers to retro gaming and RGB often ask us what the differences between various SCART cables are. Particularly, the difference between clean sync (also known as pure sync and raw sync) and composite video for sync often confuses people. While we do cover this information over on our Gamers guide to SCART, the topic is still pretty confusing. Our friends over at “My Life in Gaming” on Youtube have posted an excellent, professionally shot video that goes in-depth and explains all the various terminology to do with sync and the difference it can make in your setup. If you’re new to RGB or even if you’re not and just want a refresher, this is a great video to watch. Click here to go watch it now on Youtube.
