The only way to do it was to connect my PS2 directly (no switches) via scart, select YPbPr mode on the PS2, and change the input on the OSSC to YPbPr, and it was good (the PS2 outputs RGB and Component over the same pins), so my Scart cable was acting as a component cable really.

If your SCART switch does automatic switching, I can believe that RGsB wouldn’t work through it; I’m sure the loss of sync on pin 20 causes it to start scanning. If it’s a manual switch, the only thing I could think is that it, for whatever reason, won’t forward anything if a sync signal is absent.

What I don’t understand is how RGsB still doesn’t work when connecting your PS2 directly to your OSSC.
