The elusive 3DO RGB mod is now available for most 3DO consoles through our store. Finally you can enjoy high quality RGB output with your 3DO console, no more S-Video or composite. This mod is ideal for use with an OSSC or XRGB Mini, a must have for 3DO fans with HDTVs!
Our 3DO mod service uses the latest design board from Taijigamer. Each board is licensed from him and a royalty paid. If you choose the option above we will also provide you with a high quality RGB SCART cable. If you prefer to make your own or have your favourite cable supplier make them, please make sure it is wired according to the diagram below (click or tap the picture to enlarge it).
Please note that the late Panasonic FZ-10 and Goldstar GDO-202 model 3DO consoles contain the revised ANVIL video chip which does not output 24bit digital RGB and cannot be modded for analogue RGBS at this time. The only way to know for sure if your console has this particular chip is to open it and check. We can check any console you send in but if you send an incompatible model we will unfortunately still have to charge you for return shipping.
We also strongly recommend getting the 240p modification done at the same time, unless your 3DO console already has a factory fitted 240p switch. The 240p mod will make the console perform much better when used with an OSSC.
