SD2SNES upgrade board/MSU-1 volume fix board

This little PCB upgrades your SD2SNES cartridge to the latest revision. If you have an older revision of the cartridge you may have noticed the audio in MSU-1 games is rather quiet. By installing this PCB you can upgrade your SD2SNES to the latest version, revision H, which fixes this problem.

Additionally, if you have a revision E board or earlier, you can order and fit the revision E upgrade. This consists of two small components a 100uF capacitor and a 10uH inductor. Fitting these will prevent picture noise problems on 1-chip consoles.

To find out what revision of SD2SNES cartridge you have, carefully open the cartridge shell and look at the text above the battery. If you have a revision H or newer cartridge then you do not need this modification.

Fitting instructions for this part can be found here.

For fitting instructions for the revision E upgrade, click here.

Please note these parts are intricate and require soldering skills to fit. We cannot provide technical support with fitting, if you require a professional fitting service please click here.
