SNES SPDIF/Digital audio upgrade board

Upgrade your SNES or Super Famicom console to digital audio (TOSLink/SPDIF) using this board created by Borti4938. With digital audio you will eliminate forever that annoying background audio buzz/hum that even the best quality SCART cables still produce. For a review of this product, click here. For full fitting instructions, see this page. Please note – Unfortunately the SNES does not output a standard optical audio signal and some amplifiers/digital audio converters may not be compatible. The only way to know if your equipment is compatible is to test it. As we’re only a small company please understand that we cannot offer refunds on fitted components if your amp/home theatre system turns out to be incompatible.
